It brings to my mind the book "The Lair of the White Worm" by Bram Stoker and the film of the book by Ken Russell. If this is your concept I'm afraid that the model's hair and your treatment of it lets the photo down. Her hair should be better lit and a lot more visible e.g. flowing down over both shoulders.
Even if the book is not your concept, I still feel the lack of lighting on her hair lets the picture down.
Mind you she is still a beautiful model.

Cheers

Interesting. Is she 'floating'?

Thanks for commenting, I wasn't familiar with the book or film until now (although now I've discovered the film is apparently "...one of the kitschest, campest, most ludicrous films ever made" so may have to try and rent it...),
so no, not based on them, just playing with an unusual prop (the dryer vent hose) really and I liked this composition. One main light used (softbox, maybe w louvres, I don't remember so the hair is not well lit although i is separated from the bg in the print.
