Thanks guys! "Intense" -- yes, in fact this I think this d!git@l image doesn't quite do it full justice. I don't usually hang out in the mountains in non-foliage season, and when I do, I am amazed at the effects of winter light, clear skies, etc. I should admit this particular exhibition is a non-juried, non-award event. The art club I am deeply entangled in has done this several years now at a local music school. We get some exposure and publicity and a sales opportunity, they get a percentage of any sales. Sales have been lackluster, but probably that is partly the fact that the summer session doesn't generate as much traffic. However, nothing ventured, nothing gained!
