I think that abandoned homes especially if they still contain artefacts like a coathanger are intensely sad places, full of atmosphere.
If you hadn't have said it was sepia toned, I'd never have guessed it was. It looks a little like the very subtle warmth that Ilford WT paper gives which I think suits the scene.
Do I take it that the neg has been toned as you make no mention of paper?
From a purely personal point of view I suppose I am asking whether, if sepia toning is this subtle, it is worth the effort. Maybe I just like sepia to be more obvious.
Hi pentaxuser, it is a toned neg. The shot was intentionaly over exposed and under developed to compensate for reciprosity failure due to low light. I added sepia to the neg to increase the density, tea probably would have the same efect...
