Scanning some old Ektachromes.

1986. Just finished "On the Road". My friend was going to school at St. John's College in New Mexico so we drove X-country. These are my 2 best buddies and my 2 best bike racing buds.
When I see this photo, I think of this passage from the book:

"Behind us lay the whole of America and everything Dean and I had previously known about life, and life on the road. We had finally found the magic land at the end of the road and we never dreamed the extent of the magic."
- Jack Kerouac, On the Road, Part 4, Ch. 5
Location
Somewhere in Colorado, 1986
