My House Burned Down Today 3 - Upstairs Hall Window

So it's been quite a frustrating day, my house burned down, and the only way for me to turn the bad into good was take a few photos. I really couldn't see much, it was very dark, and I basically messed up one or more lines in every photo while adjusting for the ones I could see, I missed a whole bunch that I couldn't see. Such is life I suppose.

Don't worry, no one was there at the time, no film or camera was lost, and the suspect is either a druggie who broke in to stay warm, or someone lighting fires for kicks, apparently I wasn't the only house at that time that "got hit" in the city. At least I got the exposures right...

I know this one hasn't gotten other comments, yet, but I think this one tells more of the story. At least to me. It also says you have either guts or something else to go upstairs to get this shot looking down through the floor. I'm glad no one was hurt and that nothing truly important was lost. Virtual hugs! You and your family are in my thoughts.

Thanks Bethe, this is the one I was most upset about, because it was so dark I didn't see those side rafters completely, I did see them, but only the bottom portion, and took so much time getting the lines of the window straight and all my tilts etc, but didn't see the wall beams and so I wasn't super happy with this shot, but at least I tried. As far as the position I was in, well, yea guts and foolishness, I knew the floor well and tested it before each full step, a fool maybe but not completely insane, still it wasn't exactly easy to get there. Thanks for the comment.
