My House Burned Down Today 1 - Kitchen

So it's been quite a frustrating day, my house burned down, and the only way for me to turn the bad into good was take a few photos. I really couldn't see much, it was very dark, and I basically messed up one or more lines in every photo while adjusting for the ones I could see, I missed a whole bunch that I couldn't see. Such is life I suppose.

Don't worry, no one was there at the time, no film or camera was lost, and the suspect is either a druggie who broke in to stay warm, or someone lighting fires for kicks, apparently I wasn't the only house at that time that "got hit" in the city. At least I got the exposures right...

Very kind of you, I've PMed you, but suffice to say to everyone, there is no need to offer money, however man if I had known I would get so many offers of help and money I could run a racket on forums claiming to need money help for my burning house hah! I should have said "don't send money, send film" :smile:There are more important things in life right now, family are also sick and that's my main focus, but thanks again everyone for all of your good wishes.

Man that sucks. Glad to see that no one was hurt and that you are still able to take care of the things that really matter.

So sorry about your home, guess there is a silver lining in all events, but I do not see it. I wish you the very best.

I am impressed that you could do such good work in the circumstances. I'd be a wreck.
Thanks, I actually thought I did quite terribly with my work, but thanks so much for thinking otherwise

Looking at this particular shot some more, it is actually quite a strange picture. Complete chaos, yet the open cabinet still has neatly ordered wine glasses, bowl on the top shelf, etc.Obviously this comment is way off topic and I don't mean to minimize the gravity of this terrible situation at all so hopefully it isn't taken negatively.
Not at all, in fact it's good to finally have some feedback on the images themselves, I agree, I was drawn to the cabinet as well. Thanks.
