You could try a red filter which may reduce the imperfections in her skin. Try focusing on the bottom eyelid from this angle and maybe use a longer lens. The forehead and hair are not as important as the eyes nose and lips and the longer lens would further distance the body from the face via faster focus falloff. I'd also consider removing the necklace. Consider using less light on the body and more bounce on the face.

None of what I suggest is certain to work, it is simply an extrapolation from what I see in the image.

Gee, I would never have thought of using a red filter. I'll try and consider all this next time I have a similar opportunity. Thanks for the tips!
