I offered to make some photos of him. Here's the result. I ended up using only a 50 mm lens (Voigtlaender 1.5 Aspherical Nokton on a Bessa R3A, T-Max 400 film). I think I chose not to use a 90 mm because it was obvious he was a little tense being in front of the camera. So I tried to pcture him against an interesting background on each photo. These were done in Magdeburg, Germany, by the way.
Any comment will be wellcome.
Thanks! We'll, I'd already shown him other portraits I've made. I've thought of bringing another person along next time to entertain and distract him as I do the shooting. That might work.
