My First Print Ever

I made my first print ever today, and I am hooked. Maybe not the best or easiest negative I could have chosen, but I like this gnarly old pecan tree.

Big congratulations are in order. This is a huge first soup-to-nuts step.
Agree with Tony, you should be very pleased. Nice job.

I made 'My First Print' in 1951 at the East Ham Grammar School Photographic Society, run by the Chemistry Master -- it was a 'Contact Print' on Kodak 'VELOX' paper from a 1930's Kodak Brownie 'Hawkeye' box camera my Mum had got by saving up 'Black Cat' Cigarette coupons -- as she did NOT SMOKE it took a LONG TIME to get !

Outstanding. Now you have to get a 8x10 camera or buy my 8x20 and start making contact prints. The world of B&W what a wonderful place to be.
