not bad, I can't tell but it does seem to be slightly off, but that could be an illusion of the pattern of plants vs the horizon of the trees, I like that there's dark on one side and white on the other (trees) but I wish it were almost zoomed in so that it was exactly half, like all black on one half, and all the white (birches?) on the other side, I think that would be my only critique, it's not bad for a "first try" I'm sure you've shot before
Now that i can see it, after your appreciated comments, I think that you can be right. I'll try to crop it in the way you suggest, and i'll consider it. I was shooting BW (and developing it myself) maybe 25 years ago... Then some weeks ago my wife asked if i still remember how to develop a film, and if i was willing to show her the process. So i digged out my tanks, bought some chemicals and refoamed my cameras, for a long long time forgotten... Now she is the Art Director, storming around in the countryside looking for interesting places; and i'm the Sorcerer's Apprentice, rummaging elbows-deep in cauldrons of stinking chemicals. She even hand-seamed an apron for me, but i absolutely refused to wear a cone-shaped hat... We enjoy it very much, she has always been an artist while i was the technician... As soon as those rainy days will cease to harass us, we will be out again together. An i'l bother again all of you with some more images... Thanks for your advices, now and again!
