Hi Clive I thank you very much for your suggestions. We are a team of two, here: my wife Rossana is the Art Director, and chooses locations and shooting angles (she is the artist of our family) while i'm the Camera Man and Darkroom Specialist (i'm the technically minded, in our family). I have posted on the Critique Gallery another version of the SAME photo; and this is the framing as seen by my wife. I cropped the first one, against her advice... I'm back to analog photo after about 25 years of absence, and we enjoy it very, very much. Your advices, if i don't bother you too much, will be VERY appreciated. In 25 years, everything is changed; some films i was accustomed to are vanished, and my memory too... so i'm starting from zero again. Nowadays i work only in analog BW, and i would like to achieve nice tonal ranges. I do lansdcapes, old buildings, nature in general. Obviously, when it's not raining... and now we are litterally soaked. Thanks again very much from Paolo and Rossana!
