I took this on a Whole Plate (8 1/2" x 6 1/2") sized sheet of Velvia 100. It's the largest sheet of slide film that I've developed, and it just looks awesome on the light table. The colors match the actual slide, which does justice to the colors of the tree itself.
I think most people just use the standard Adobe RGB colour space. I've taken the liberty of downloading your file and doing a quick colour correction on it in PS. Having no reference makes it a bit hard to nail it.
Interesting one. So which is the more accurate representation of the real colours?. Was the building a pale green with mid blue bottoms and corners? I prefer this one to the corrected one. Yes it doesn't look as bright but the day looks as if it was a little gloomy anyway.
I was trying for the color of the tree as I remembered it. This throws off other colors.
I have another version where I matched the actual slide as closely as possible on my calibrated monitor. Adjusted as such, it is balanced for a photograph, but the tree colors are then off compared to viewing the actual thing. *shrug*
I use sRGB for uploading to the internet. Comparing the uploaded version to my image file shows a difference where all I did was upload.
