I must be alone here. For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, my initial reaction to this was one of disquiet. It's certainly well done. And the subjects, both the real and the portrayed, are unquestionably adorable. But for some reason the image just gives me a palpable sense of uneasiness. Maybe it's her age and the component of fear I seem to detect in her expression. Or maybe it's just me. I don't know...

You are right ... that uneasiness is what I felt when I took the photo, uneasiness because it reminded me my grandma's dolls !!! My daughter was pretending to be a real "vintage" doll: eyes wide open, frozen sight ... Thank you!
