Hi John. I prefer this one of the two. I think the interplay between and repetition of the two wavy lines above and below the plants really makes the composition and creates a strong rhythm and adds visual "poetry" to this photograph. Also a bit like a musical score or sound wave running through it. (I'll stop now!)

Thank you all for commenting! I just printed this and 'Music Room 2' last night. It's a bit lighter and more 'high key' than the scan, but there's a lot of detail and subtle tonality in the curtains nonetheless. It was fun to do, and always a treat to find something to photograph in your own home.
