here is a photo of my mule (me). i was shooting the tetons just up from my campsite. i am carrying my kodak 2D 8x10, my 4x5 speed graphic, my 4x5 zero image pinhole camera, and my RB rig with some lenses and some film holders on my back in the backpack! the one little crappy tripod and my 3021 "big" tripod! not a bad haul!
har har har! yeah troy, i was in a hurry. the moon was going down fast and i was late. it did not seem that cold until about 90min later!
shawn, i am not sure if my work would get any better or not. i figured i had my 8x10 so i should bring my small (rb) camera for the quick grab shots while i waited for the money 8x10. the pinhole was running the whole time all by itself. yeah, you are right. maybe i could have saved myself carrying the 4x5!
I feel like 'equipment overload' syndrome kicking in as soon as I drag along both my 4x5, one lens, my Rolleiflex, and one tripod. That's an almost amusing amount of equipment, all at once. I'm sure the effort pays off, though. Good luck hits those that try hard.

Don't forget that with some creative strapping, there's room for more equipment on top of the head. It works for many folks in the developing world, so why not here?
