mud.water

The sun spots bother me. Personally I think they detract. I find myself wondering what is in there, instead of seeing the image as a whole.

I really like the idea though.

I can see what you are talking about. The spots look strange because the water was muddy, which is one of the reasons I was drawn into the mud..

I like the image. The sunspots, in this instance, do not bother me because they amplify the impression of indistinctness when I first view the image...

I'm with Donald, in a sense they make the picture.

I'm learning to let my instincts follow what attracted my attention to a subject more freely...I think you did just that and you came away with very interesting image that is captivating and worthy of review...I think your's and Shawn's attraction to stuff that emanates from these ponds is also interesting...I would look into it further but the personal risk to health and well being is too high here.... ....nice image...
