I have looked at both photos. Both good but two things strike me.1) Although there's no filter in this one the sky looks just as good. It makes me wonder about whether a yellow filter is worthwhile. I must admit to be dissatisfied with my yellow.
2) There's something about the combination of mountains and water in the other one that makes the photo.

The opportunity of looking at both pics together has helped my landscape education. Thanks

I have to admit - I did use a yellow filter on this picture, however, I just clean forgot to mention it. Sorry!
