Goodness, Tony, That's breathtaking! Tone range & clarity just amaze me. Dang, what I wouldn't give to have mine come out this way often. 'Gives me some extra smile that its small format.
Wow Tony, what a fantastic photograph, and what HiHo said about the 35mm. It is just gorgeous! Only last night i was talking to a close friend of mine, Oz expatriot living in NYC now, and we were talking about the AAWT trail a portion of which another Oz friend had hiked back in Sept. Anyway, Derek brought up the Tasmania Overland trail that he had hiked with buddies when in college. Maybe because we were talking also about the waterfalls in the north-eastern US White Mountains. This waterfall is a stunner. I have passed up on capturing a Fuji 6x9 rangefinder here on APUG that i am now regretting. I mulled over and just couldn't bring myself to yet another format and developing complication that would compete with my LF shooting, which i do for therapy - the composing images on gg is like magic. I often wish though that i had a pick up off the back seat of car camera to make otherwise lost images.
Thank you all...most kind. Shot was taken right on sunset on a fairly dull day, didn't have a tripod so I rested the camera on a railing and held my breath!
Tony, the image is beautifully done. The other comments do not appreciate that you used Pyrocat developer to help get that sharp, stunning look. You helped me several years ago with time and temp of Pyrocat, and I have never turned back. It is magic for 35mm.
