Re-print of a shot I've posted before. I printed this time using the split filter technique (9 seconds with a grade 00 and 5 seconds with a grade 5). I then used a cooltone developer and selenium toning for this split-toned look.
I liked it before and like it even better now.
Technical Comment:
Making two full exposures at different grades is not different from making one at an intermediate grade (in this case probably around 1.5). Split-Grade printing only makes a difference if you dodge during one exposure or use one for a partial burn-in.
Wow! this has got mood in spades, great image with the tree balancing that chimney or whatever. I like this more with the bottom third cropped off.
