For the current MSA - Weekends.
Parades are a weekend phenomenon. I took this last Sunday at the muster of the Empire Days Parade. This youngster assembling his clarinet was the only child who didn't pose and smile for my TLR.
If you've got a photo of a weekend pursuit, add it to the MSA gallery.
I'm glad he didn't pose. That's why it's my favorite photo from couple of rolls worth. I haven't got a telephoto for the Yashica, so stealth photography isn't possible. People notice, ask how old it is, and pose...... This musician was just too focused.
I can feel his intensity entirely without seeing his eyes. Very nice.
Please excuse my south-of-the-border ignorance here... The "Navy League Cadets" I can piece together from the shoulder patches. But what does the full "N.L.C.C. J.P. BELL" across the hat all stand for?
Navy League Cadet Corps. I've got no clue about JP Bell. Any body else know? Googling it just found the Navy league, a photographer, a metal worker......I gave up and ate dinner instead.
