What better way to spend a Sunday than to pick the russets? We got to them before the local bears did this year. Sunday evening is a good time to fill the bowl and photograph them. Another Sunday - run in and out of the darkroom doing gum printing.
BTW: did you use Fabiano Artistico White or Extra White? This print is excellent, but sometimes I think the "White" version is a bit too warm/yellow. Especially for carbon printing.
The russet tree is the last of our apple trees to be picked. Made apple/oatmeal cake yesterday. Apple crumble, apple gingerbread, apple coleslaw, 100 pints of applesauce, a weekly batch of applesauce granola, bags and bags of dried apples. No apple pie - I can't make a decent pie crust - mostly because I stubbornly refuse to use white flour. Whole wheat pie crust tastes like cardboard.
I didn't even know there was a white and extra white version of Artistico. I bought what I could find in my small city.
