MSA Cheap Camera

APUG: Cheap Camera Challenge
A friend gifted me with a kit she found in a drawer. It contained a Cannon Smart Shot III compact camera, two leaking triple A batteries and a roll of Fujifilm that expired in December 2000. I figured it qualified as a cheap camera.
I read the directions, installed two new batteries, loaded the film and snapped away. It also had flash capabilities which I utilized with the rose image. Results were actually better than I anticipated, but not enough to replace my beloved Nikon N75. Having to advance the film manually drove me crazy as did not having a zoom lens. I can now cheerfully toss the Canon in the garbage without guilt!

Have tried (and tried) to flip this image vertically. It shows correctly in the thumbnail but reverts to horizontal in the Gallery. What am I doing wrong? Help anyone?

Both look fine and are correctly upright. I like this photograph better, but the colors in the icicle one remind me so much of snapshots when I was a kid!

Looks good here - I like the photo. And, you could become a Lomographer and be right in the crowd!
A Lomographer? Had to look that one up but I guess it fits! Thanks for "learning" me something...
