The Mellow Mushroom in Asheville is an old favorite of mine: Great pizza, a welcoming vined outdoor terrace, and a quirky 1960s vibe. I had no idea it was part of a chain until I came across another one in Delray Beach FL, which had none of the joys of its AVL cousin. Mr. Mellow is a first for me, but I am grateful to him none the less.

I've been to the one in Delray beach when I would visit the Wakodahatchee wetlands for birding photography. I believe it shut down a few years ago. The one in Ashville is the coolest one, I think.
