This is the Buick that Mr. Dupont drove when he was in Florida. It has been kept in original, unrestored condition, complete with faded paint and weathered chrome. That it survives is a miracle considering Mr. Dupont was blind in one eye and deaf in both ears at the time he was driving this car. The reason for the Buick is a bit odd as well, because he remained extremely loyal to GM (owning several Cadillacs as well) despite the fact that several of GM's board members were also on the board of Dupont and engineered his ouster from directorship of the company.
