I've been playing around with photograms and cyanotypes lately, trying to create a sense of depth and form by moving bits of craft paper around the frame while I expose the sheet under the sunlight. (which has been mighty rare these days)
Thank you very much, folks. I really appreciate your comments. I've been kind of binging on they cyanotypes lately, but they are just so darned fun. I've been having problems with images fading in or after the rinse stage. I did one yesterday that turned out like this fresh out of the bath, but faded to a ghost of an image by the time the paper had dried. I think I just need to give a LOT more exposure. I had no problems with the Mike Ware recipe I tried a few years ago, but this is the traditional formula from Formulary, which is a lot slower. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them. Cheers, Tom

Mine have been kind of hit and miss as well Tom. A little better now with different paper, a good saturation of chemistry, and a little added vinegar to the bath. Still can't get them to come out looking like yours though ;-)
