The last picture from the creek, which lies down a small country road. The road takes the place of an old railroad bed that was used to harvest timber from the forest here. By 1910 the forest was completly harvested, the land desolate and deserted was purchased by the U.S. Deptartment of the Interior. Now there is again a beautiful forest, complete with this creek alive with native brook trout, and beautiful small cascading waterfalls.
