A big print scene is this one. I like this high contrast look. The sky is proof of what clear high air can do with an orange filter. In the U.K. I might be lucky to get even close to this look with a red and polariser together

Hmm, orange filter, I usually use a Red. Do you find it helps you get deeper blacks in the trees?

@Kilgallb I only have an orange filter that fits the 20mm. Used it to give the sky and clouds more punch. Trees were in the shadows in this shot.

Very striking photograph. I've never flown for such photographs, always hiked up! I would have liked more mid-tones but this is what has happened to my photographs with an orange filter in very strong UV.
