Great Mossy tree! Love the texture along with the color. Up here moss grows on the North side of trees - I assume it grows on the South side down there. If I were lost in the woods I would have to remember that!
 
Aha! I think I know that creek...Bloody good shot. I saw it in the thumbnails and I was surprised how clear it was, even better in the large version. Well done.

Fleath, this is down by the old cottage (not the old mine cottage, but the one that had a roof on it 5 years ago, but has now been cordoned off). I am not sure whether it was the scans or not, but I was blown away by the resolution that was captured. I have been told that the Konica lenses are pretty sharp!

bsdunek, I can't comment! Yes, the tree would have been pointing sou sou west, so I suppose you could be right!
