Wow your hardcore! A straight razor. Do you use it? I use a double edge and love it.

'Haven't used anything else since 6/10. 'Been sent razors from Europe, Guam, Australia - to hone, which I do for free. The honorable Chrism on LFF posted a shot of brushes & a lovely Damascus steel Wacker razor (I have 4, not damascus).

Great still life with an interesting, nostalgic subject.

Julie, thank you. That's most kind. Like most endeavors, I only see the flaws - feel like I should be able to do better. 'Most still life compositions are low key, accentuating the tones & textures of the gear. I wanted the morning light barking out its demands to get ready for the day.
