More from "my" meadow in Harriman State Park. This was taken about a dozen feet from the car in the parking area at about 8:30AM or so on November 11th. This kind of light is not as easy to find or use as it is in the west with its' much higher mountains, but if you wait for it, it happens nonetheless.
Really like this, mostly like how there is just a faint bit of detail in the shadows. It is probably just my monitor, but the contrast seems a bit much but that could be what you wanted as well. This is a good time of year IMO to find that special light...it's here and the then gone it seems, but well worth the time and effort to capture it.
Beautiful- the ranks of trees visible in the background shadows adds a nice contrasting element to the glowing grasses and tree. A wonderful scene- makes me wish I were there. All the best, Daniel
This is fantastic! I really like shots of trees and this one is really nice. I especially like the very faint image of the trees in the background. As far as the contrast, on my monitor it looks just fine. It is a bit contrasty, but I think it works well with this image.
Very well done, Jovo. I love November light in the northeast, very subtle and difficult to work with, but you've really captured it here! I've been enjoying your photos of this field!
