Are we looking at a version of a print or at the cirect results of a negative scan? "convestion to black and white is unnecessary if you can scan the already B&W negative. Not as dependent upon the lab and its issues.
this is from the disc you scan to your computer from walgreens.infotunately you dont get your negatives back.so i converted this pic to black and white.from walgreens all the pics looked like the goat plaque i put up.they all have that bronze cast to them from which i read is normal due to their processing.that is why i sat on a fence post ( sort to speak) about getting these processed with them.i just could not wait anymore.i am not complaining too much about it,but it has convinced me to get my developing tanks and chemistry to start re-learning the home process once again.it has been at least 40+ years since i did it.and i am looking for a scanner of sorts to eliminate all big box store processing.time will tell.
thanks -- gary
