Morning Gloom

I took this shot while hiking on the Black Forest Trail in Pennsylvania. The scene was actually much lighter than this, but the trees in the foreground showed more detail than I wanted and the distant valley and clouds were very weak. To change the mood and focus, I printed the foreground down which brought out the subject of my print: the fog in the valley and the mood of the clouds.
