The picture is ok and I like the way his head is cropped, but the is nothing there that tells me it i at a morgue.

Leigh, you are right. This portrait don't work because of it, it only have meaning to the one who know him.

Interesting. The burning of top corners and some edge is a nice touch.. or else that's just vignetting or natural light.

I actually find it has a grim and gloomy quallity without even reading the title and as such it holds its own and makes one wonder about the dark mysterious identity of the man.

Very interesting composition. Keeps you off balance. It reminds me of the current fashion in TV drama where all the close ups are cut across the actors forehead.
