Paul- this is one layer of gum bichromate using Burnt Sienna pigment applied on top of a Ziatype print. a Ziatype is a printing-out version of a palladium print (which is normally a develop-out process). To make this print, you first make the Ziatype, then apply a mixture of pigment, gum arabic, and Ammonium Dichromate to the surface of the print. Using the same negative, you register the film with the underlying image, and expose again. Normally with gum prints, you make several layers of gum with various pigments. In this case, so far I have only used one layer of gum. I may come back and apply an additional layer or two.
