I have spent this afternoon printing this. It's from last Saturday's 'shoot' at Goose Pond Mountain State Park Wetland. The print 'sings'....this negative scan (the print is too big for the scanner) probably just 'hums'...I hope you like it.
There are some elements that work very well -- for example the way the reflection of the clouds balances the forms of the tall water plants.
When I put my thumb over the small bright water plant on the right edge of the image the composition become stronger and more stable...allowing my eye to dance across the tall plants and back round again via the reflected cloud and the reflections of the tall plants. That small plant on the right edge draws my eye off to the right and makes the image off-balanced to my eye.
But as a larger image (as a print) it might work quite different than what I see here.
