Very nice, I like this photograph. Well, i will certainly say they are both nice. The arch in this one has cloud detail that is nice, but i think the shadow areas nearly black adds a moody dimension to the image that is striking. There is enough brick work in this image to get the idea, that it doesn't have to be exposed throughout. Those shadows are the important element, not what is in the shadows. I guess that was the magic of Brett Weston.
