More donkeys

Once I was at a donkey rescue farm at Cyrpus. Sad stories and great that these farms exist.

johnny, i'm curious and somewhat perplexed on this whole donkey rescue farm concept. never heard of such a thing, or would even imagine there would be one in bc. i'd love to hear a little more...

I hadn't heard of them before either, but I gather it's not the only one in Canada. This refuge is owned by a couple who told me they will never turn away a donkey, and none of them are for sale. They rely a lot on donations of hay, money, etc. to keep it going but I suspect it is not self-supporting. It is a very nice, well-kept farm with good buildings. Their main interest seems to be in looking after these donkeys. This is their website:
