I took the Mordancage workshop from Elizabeth Opalenik last weekend and these are some of my results. They're far from perfect (I can see many flaws), but it's really cool to work with.
Thanks! If I'd been able to talk someone into staying here with the dogs and the toddler, I'd have brought these to Photostock. Unfortunately, that's not happening this year. The scans really don't show the real print as the remaining white areas from the photo are glossy and the areas where the emulsion lifted are matte. They're really pretty cool. If you want to try the process, I'd recommend learning it from someone personally rather than reading and trying it out. I think the success rate would be much better that way. I can definitely recommend Elizabeth as a teacher, too.
