Mooring Rope

One of my most successful liths on Fomabrom. I did this a little while ago, but think I had it ready to upload just when APUG went AWOL for a few days. This print makes me want to go back to the Fomabrom and fight with it some more.

Well, I guess you can fight with it, but it looks good to me. Like the way the rope dissects the photo and the really gritty concrete.

this one turned out great. Many (most) others were a mess.

I'm pretty ignorant about lith printing. For a 3200 ISO, I'm a bit taken back at the absense of grain and the fineness of the rope's reflection. Indeed - it turned out great.

Sly, do you shoot this at ISO 3200? or something else?

Hi Hiho - tried to send you a PM, but no luck.
I shoot at 1600, and develop for 3200 in DDX. Works a treat. Love it for lith. Advice originally garnered on this wonderful site.

Sly, thank you. I appreciate your kind help., 'Hard to believe the speed w/ no grain visible on the monitor. That's one of the reasons i kept going back to look.
Thanks again, Sly. All best to you & yours.

If you want grain, develop this film in Rodinal - golf balls!

How's HC-110 or Pyrocat-HD or D76 do? I do notice the grain from Rodinal.

Don't know. I stick to DDX. (Except the once with rodinal) You can find info about the different chemistry of Delta films with a search in the forums.
