thanks for your comments -- i have to confess a bit of disappointment in this image, tho -- the shadow on the lower right nags at me because it seems to throw the image off a bit, and because it could have been avoided ..... the shadow is from the camera sitting on the pier so close to the rope ..... i figured a bit of it would be in the frame, but not that much ..... if only i had had the patience to wait 15-30 minutes, the sun would have come around more and there would be no shadow! ah well ...... on to the next shot, i guess
