The moon over Old Portsmouth 18/10/2016. Low tide at slack water. Taken from HMS Dolphin. Camera placed on a wall and lens opened with "T" setting and closed again 25 seconds later. No shutter cable with me. Also an experiment with graded paper and very satisfied with it; lovely deep black.
Thank you. It turned out much better than I had hoped. I wan't expecting it to be so sharp and crisp. It is going to go on my office wall at work. I have been told that my office is too spartan so I am going to put some of my own prints up. I took about 3 others as the moon rose. The others have the moon higher in the sky but the reflections are not so good as the tide started to come back in. I also have a very weird triple exposure that I might print for the fun of it. I made the triple exposure because opening the lens on "T" or "B" on these ancient cameras makes no sound at all and I wasn't sure the aperture was open. Then I forgot to wind on. I moved the camera in between the exposures so it will look very strange.
