The Beverley Trestle over the Columbia River (Wanapum Reservoir) was used by the Milwaukee Road. It was an electric railroad for transporting agricultural products; I can remember the trains going through Ellensburg when I was a graduate student at Central Washington State College (now University) in 1970. At the time this image was made (early 1980's) the tracks had been abandoned. I'm not sure what is left of it now.
