It's all a bit dark and muddy. The canon on the left and right are disappearing into the gloom. The shadows are short so Im assuming this is close to Midday. If it was printed for less time overall then that highlight on the front left of the plinth might be an issue. Would it look better with adjustment to printing exposure and contrast? It seems the tones are too close to each other and the contrast too low.
This was just a first pass, no special work put into the image. Yes, it was a mid-day shot. But the contrast looks fine on my monitor - I suspect it's an internet thing that makes it look muddy/flat to you.
Ok. It is an electric photograph. Try in darkroom. Glad it looks good on your monitor. Not on my monitor or mobile telephone but that whole sequence looks like a dark phase of totally black shadows. Fine if you are an enthusiast of only the black part of black and white..
