Recently took a much closer look at all the colour images I shot during my Nepal trip in April.
I'm organizing a photography auction to raise $$ for an NGO I visited while there, so it's been a good experience.
This was one of my favorite places there - a wonderful place atop a big hill, and yes -- full of monkeys (and monks).
I loved Gold , browns and greys. But there is a bluish cast , may be high altitude ? Composition is strong , I think Ektachrome is alltime winner for exotic colors. May be Scanner was not good , other pictures in bw have less corner aberration. I think 120 film carrying plastic thing is not very high quality.Go to different shops and dont escape to compensate the scanner losses with software. I do it everytime and pictures dont look cheap.
Thanks Thomas. I wish I'd spent longer here, so I guess file that one away if I ever return. The colour looks fine to me but hey, what do I know, I was only there in person...
