Mom's Kitchen - "Important to me" assignment

I grew up here. My folks moved in when I was 1. That was 48 years ago. My mom passed away last month and the house is now for sale. It is the end of a long chapter in my life filled with so much that can never be replaced. I would have lunch here several times a month just like I did when I was a little guy. All of this is now only a memory.

The circle of Life is sometimes a hard path to walk...my mom passed away a year and a half ago. This is a beautiful photograph that will bring back many memories in the years to come. Good for you for taking it. My deepest sympathies...
