This one makes me sad. Here he looks less than an anatomy doll and more like the body of an unfortunate human, forgotten, alone, in a cold and inhospitable place.
This is an awesome, haunting image. Reminds me of a poem called "The Corpse-Cutting Room" that I had once translated into English. Thanks for posting this.
Outstanding work Jose. This really does have impact and a fate the will touch all of us at some point. It really makes you think of your mortality and fragility. A beautiful series.
Jose, I have to always sit back and think about what to reply to your photographs. I've studied this for a long time now, and I now have some thoughts.
To me the light coming through the window has significant symbolism tied to it. It's as though there is a connection with higher powers, even at a less than dignified state like this. I should mention that I am not Christian, but the light is still very symbolic. This seems peaceful to me compared to some of the more grim (but equally effective) photographs you've posted prior to this one. This is really strong and convincing. I really hope to read and study a book of yours in the future. I am definitely inspired by your dedication and work. Well done, Jose.

Thanks! Most of your pictures I have seen here are a study of death and it's something we all have to remember. For this picture there are no particular comments, naturally, speaking for myself. No need, either. One minor thing is only that peace has to do with living senses, not for "lifeless" corps. Except, if ... . Thanks again.
