Mom and Cisco

A shot of my 76 year old mother Reba with her Boston Terrier Cisco, shot with a Brownie Target 620 camera she got when she was 16 years old. The camera is a fixed focus meniscus lens with two apertures and two shutter settings, B and I. It has two viewfinders, one for vertical shots and one for horizontal. The case is made from pressed paper and the rest is punched metal and wood. I don't think this camera has had a roll of film put through it since I was a baby. I had to take a 120 roll off it's spool to load it in the camera and used the 620 takeup spindle to advance the film.

Great stuff, love the idea that the camera is still getting used....and like the subject matter. Wonderfull moment...thanks for sharing.

It's a great image that captures the relationship between two sentient beings who spend a good deal of time together. Thanks.

Just a note to say that little Cisco had to be put to sleep a couple weeks ago, he was extremely ill due to kidney failure was wasn't going to recover. Mom misses him.
