too much grain and bright lower light spoils this shot.

The grain, to me, helps the picture in becoming more of a study in shape and form. It's very successful to me, and one of my favorites of yours. I can see this printed very large.

It works for me. Two hot spots keeps my eyes moving along the entire length of the model, back and forth. To me, it enhances the model. I do think the grain is a bit much though. Grain works and won't work without the grain.... but little less would be my preference.

I'm really curious how this is done. Both FP4 image and this has more grain than I've known for both of those films....

Reminds me of Michael Ackerman's and derivative styles.
