Now this has merit. The continuity (ie, congruence brought about by the reflection) I do like, as well as the low contrast which forces one to impart further value. Maybe I would have liked a bit less dirt on the lower right, but, overall, it gives me peace and solace in this troubled world. Better than taking a pill. Pete, it is not just him. I agree with David's comment about "peace and solace." I also like that it is predominantly grey and black with very little highlight which, for me, adds an air of nostalgia, even a kind of longing. That lonesome bench on the right adds to that feeling. At first I thought that you might crop it a bit on the right but I now think you would lose the beautiful symmetry if you did that.
I want to immerse myself into that scene. There is decidedly something positive to say about NOT using the full range of tones available on paper. - David Lyga
