Mirage, Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah

I'm no fashion photographer, had no right to be here. But this fell in my lap. Shoot was underway when my son and I stopped at Bonneville Salt Flats rest stop on the way home. Saw amazing woman in black dress fighting the wind and couldn't believe my eyes.

I printed it on Grade 3 11x14, four prints. It looks much better but doesn’t come across the screen much better. I got a glove/fingerprint of contamination on the edge of one print. Some rusty object stain in the middle of one print. Little variations of dodging and burning. Having gotten all this out of my system I Googled salt flats black dress. Now I am not as impressed with the clever photographer who arranged the shoot. I guess I could go there any day of the week and see the same trope unfold.
Sorry @jvo my wife thinks mirage is a bad title, so I guess she’s going to be
titled Salt Flats
